Who we are
LILAC, Wellington’s Lesbian Library, is at 187 Willis Street. We are lucky enough to be able to offer flat access from the street, and a lift up to the second floor where you will find us. Come and check out our books, magazines and DVD’s.
Our regular opening hours are –
- Wednesdays 5.30 – 7.30pm
- Thursdays 11.00 – 2.00pm
- Saturdays 11.00 – 2.00pm
Lilac Book (and cake) Group: Lilac Library hosts a monthly book group for women in the Wellington area. Each month we select an author or a genre to read for the next month. We are a friendly group who enjoy cake and a laugh with our chat. We meet on the last Wednesday of each month at Lilac Library, at 6.30pm.
